Fit-J is an elasticated narrow fabric that maintains the perfect fit regardless of size. It’s flatter, more stable and more flexible than a typical elastic.

Made with polyurethane elastomeric yarns, Fit-J creates a thinner fabric than if an item was made with conventional spandex. It eliminates the need for rings, sliders and other accessories, which simplifies the production process and makes the garment more comfortable for the wearer. It’s commonly used in women’s underwear and sports wear.

Fit-J allows clothing to adapt to more than one body size, so a tailored fit can literally be picked off the rack. And because one size fits more, production costs are lower.

Fit-J is a highly sustainable technology and can easily be recycled.

Bondelast gives the support and performance of elastic with no stitching or seams. The elastic is bonded to the garment using heat and pressure.

It’s a highly elastic adhesive that allows the production of strong, comfortable and flexible seam-free garments.

Garments bonded with Bondelast mould to the body and retain their shape and elasticity.

It’s so strong, you could jump from space wearing a Bondelast outfit. That’s what Felix Baumgartner did when he jumped 39 kilometres from the stratosphere in 2012, reaching a top speed of 1,357 km/h and becoming the first person to break the sound barrier.

It’s bonded rather than stitched, which makes it flatter, less bulky and more flexible. It’s more comfortable than a garment with sewn seams and looks better because it has smoother lines and a finer finish. Bondelast also keeps its shape superbly and is highly resistant to washing at temperatures of up to 50°C.

Fortitube is a puncture-resistant bra underwire casing. It’s comfortable, strong, soft against the skin and machine washable.

The unique way we manufacture Fortitube – by binding the yarns together to form a barrier – means that there’s less chance of an uncomfortable underwire poking through the bra. Fortitube is also fully machine washable and can be tumble-dried without shrinking – for the consumer, that means their bra lasts longer, for the manufacturer, there are fewer returns due to faulty products.

Fortitube is suitable for all kinds of bra design – the casing moulds to any wire shape and can be dyed any colour. When it’s on, it won’t pucker or crumple and because it’s made of fine nylon yarns, it feels luxurious against the skin.

The technology we use prevents faulty construction – your garments are stronger, they’re better quality, and customers are more likely to buy from you again. Manufacturing production times are also substantially improved – in some cases up to 30%.

Stay4Sure is a silicone coating that holds garments in place next to the skin. It’s comfortable, gentle and durable.

Stay4Sure is used mainly in hosiery and active wear. It doesn’t restrict movement or circulation, it’s breathable and it holds the garment in place by gently sticking to the skin without exerting pressure. But Stay4Sure elastic isn’t sticky and it doesn’t leave a residue or red marks, and is kind to the skin.

The unique technology adapts to the natural movement of the body – in fact the British Cycling Team have won a number of medals wearing Stay4Sure sports wear.

It’s hypoallergenic and suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. Stay4Sure can also be machine washed more than 50 times and still do its job effectively – your customers get clothing they can wear with confidence, and you get fewer garments returned because of faults.

Using our robotic coating system that applies the Stay4Sure technology directly to fabrics, manufacturers can save money on production costs and produce better quality items.

Locksafe locks together the yarns of knitted elastic, preventing it from unravelling if snagged. It’s mainly used in underwear and greatly improves its lifespan.

Elastic that unravels is one of the most common reasons for returning a garment. Locksafe eliminates runback – in fact, there’s been 100% reduction in the UK market since it was introduced.

It’s a unique knitting process that preserves and enhances knitted elastic – and because of the anti-runback nature, there’s a reduction in sewing time as well as the costs involved in bar tracking and back latching, methods traditionally used to prevent unravelling.

Locksafe elastic can be flat stitched onto the seams so there’s no bulkiness, just a stronger garment that lasts longer. Our research shows that Locksafe can reduce production times by up to 10%.
