Brexit update – important information about December orders

Date: 17.11.20 | Category -

The UK officially left the EU in January 2020 and entered a transition period that comes to an end on 31 December 2020.

As yet, we don’t know what any future trade deal between the UK and the EU will look like.

However, for European orders placed after 1 January 2021 it’s possible that there may be Customs delays.

And in the event of a no deal exit there may also be other charges, such as WTO tariffs on UK imports that could affect us all.

Most of our products are manufactured and shipped from our sites here in the UK so to make sure there’s no break in supply, we’re asking customers to consider their requirements for the early part of next year and include them in their December orders.

Our final date for dispatch from the UK is Friday 18 December

So that we can guarantee delivery before 31 December, orders to European destinations must be dispatched from our UK sites no later than Friday 18 December 2020.

You can place orders in the usual way and within the usual timescales. If you have any questions, just call our sales team on +44 1666 842100 or email sales@stretchline.com.

And we’ll update all our customers as soon as we know any more about the situation post-December 2020.
